Projects
Over the years, I've embarked on a number of projects, both online and offline. Some are no longer around, whereas others are still available:
- Dump - A web directory containing screenshots, project logs and my dissertation (from 2005!).
- Framework - An HTML5, CSS3, jQuery framework all on the one page.
- Holding - A simple .NET Core Razor Page for pointing domains to.
- Homelab - What started as a spare PC in 2003 has grown to occupy a 25U rack.
- Red19 - A hardware mod project from 2006, which made it into CustomPC magazine.
- SlickCMS Classic ASP - a Blog/CMS inspired by WordPress, built using VBScript in Classic ASP and SQL Server.
- SlickCMS .NET - A Blog/CMS inspired by WordPress, built using ASP.NET MVC and SQL Server.
- Snippets - Code snippets that I've come across or written myself.
- Tools - A few useful web tools.
Past projects, which I need to dig out from my digital archives and publish on here:
- 2D Animation - Back in the Flash days, I made a number of 2D Animations.
- 3D Modelling - A skill I've not practiced much, since completing University in 2005 - but I have a few renders to share.
- Bike Frame - For my final Design Techology A-Level project, I designed and built a bike frame.
- Games - I took a degree in Games Computing and have played my fair share over the years.
Ongoing/future projects I shall write about:
- Home Library - My collection of 1,000+ books that I'm slowly making my way through.
- Star Wars Legends - A subset of my Library, which is a whole project itself.
- Chernobyl - A research project of mine, that I've carried out for the last 7+ years.
- Learning - Another subset of my Library - this time covering various topics to further my career.
- Typewriter - I recently (September 2025) purchased a 1960's typewriter, to restore and use.
- LEGO - An interest of mine that has followed me from childhood - and I even worked there for a number of years.
- Short Stories - And possibly a novella/novel in the future, are life goals of mine.
