Lazlow's new rig

This morning, I was almost certain that the following would be the specs of my new rig (that I'm currently putting together):

* AMD Athlon64 3800 X2

* 2gb DDR 3200 (2 x 1gb)

* Asus A8N SLi SE

* 7800gt

* Tagan 480w

However, this evening I read this article along with this one.

For those that can't be bothered to read, or indeed those that cannot read altogether, here is a summary:

For £79, you can purchase a new Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core. This can be overclocked to 4.1Ghz without too much hassle and will beat the top Intel Extreme Edition and AMD FX-60 chips into oblivion.

Now I'm stuck as to whether I purchase a dual core AMD for £200, or this for £79...

Any help?
