^ Finally found the wet/dry paper left-over from my Pink PC project. Will need that when it comes to preparing the paint surfaces.

^ I also found an orbital sander.

^ I used it to try and smooth down the grooves, but it didn't do much.

^ One problem with jigsaws and plastic, is that the plastic soon sticks back together once cut - from the heat of the blade.

^ I ripped out the cut-out, but the jigsaw left a nasty mess of melted plastic.

^ I forgot to rotate this picture, actually I forgot to rotate all the pictures today, but hey.

So, the fascia has been attacked (literally). It's still a bit of a mess, but I'm waiting for new acrylic along with some body filler. The idea is to mount a strip of acrylic down the middle of the fascia and smooth over the grooves with the filler. Stay tuned!
