Skyline Pictures
Over the weekend some pictures of my R32 Skyline GTS were taken, by myself and spectators. I’ve uploaded a few to the server, including this:

You can see the remaining pictures here.
Sometime over the next week or so there should be some better quality and arty farty pics (Rachel and Anneka, get snapping).
I could also get a passenger to video it, but I don’t think a low-res compressed video will do it any justice.

Dont worry about justice, get some footage, phone camera or whatever. Open the window or something for some whoosh effect.
All that needs is a front bumper and some chrome spinners and you are set :D

The photos don’t do it justice! I never thought I’d say this but I love it! Don’t mod it- its far too beautiful to tamper with!
However I am slightly worried about Matt now though- as last night he washed it in the RAIN! It must be love… : )

haha, maybe he dreams about it too. As adam says you HAVE to mod it! first thing i would do is get a nice bumper kit thing for the front to stop it looking like an erect penis and i agree you need some new rims, but apart from that its top dollar.

Yeah come-on bumper! bumper! No more erect penis! hahahaha

Well I don’t know what kind of erect penises you have been looking at but I don’t see the resemblence myself…

Hmmmm, weird analogy - comparing the front to a johnson!
I wont be modding it for a year at least - hopefully keeping it stock for as long as possible. As it sits, the Skyline is thirsty at 18mpg - whereas my Fiat Punto was around 45mpg!

Check out the HKS R33 Skyline (181mph in 7.95 seconds ) and Jeremy Clarkson driving a 1000bhp Lemon R33.

That erect penis is a thirsty beast!

My Xbox is dying :(
June 23rd, 2007 at 1:37 pm
Howcome? Is the red light district showing? Or is it turning grey and old?!?
June 25th, 2007 at 12:13 am
Yeah It red lighted me, fooking thing. I didnt bring my cooler thingi for it when I came home this week so I guess it fried itself. I tried a little internet trick of wrapping a towel around it for 10mins & turning on.
It cooks the xbox and apparently warps the motherboard a bit to smooth out any prior warpage that may have occured, weird I know. Anyway fooking worked a treat and I’ve been playing this weekend with almost no beef apart from 1 crash. Mind you, I’ve had my window wide open to keep it cool.
I’ll have to wait and see how long it lasts.
I’ve also read that it seems Micro$oft changed the manufacture a bit recently and have added a biggy heatsink inside that was missing previous. I assume that newer models will have much better reliability. It’s possible that you have this version. Does it run pretty silent? I read that the newer model is a dam sight quieter.

My Xbox is starting to piss about again. I found a solution that seems to have a 95% success rate as long as u do it right.
Here is the Xbox Design Flaw: “The motherboards are warping and these “X” clips do not hold on to the gpu and cpu very well. My GPU was the culprit. Loose as a goose on the mother board with the crappy “x” clip. When the box warps from heat it loses connection. The towel trick and the heat gun trick are short temporary solutions because the board will warp again eventually due to design flaw with the “x” clip.”
Makes good sense and seems my towel trick might have to be used again soon while i decide if to risk doing the fix and opening up my xbox. What you have to do is replace some lame “X clips” with some proper clampage & screw that sucker down.

Wouldn’t you be better off contacting Microsoft and getting them to repair/replace it? A colleague at work did so and they replaced it with a brand new one.

No im out of warranty & I refuse to pay the £84. Not that I could anyway.

BTW its not brand new even tho it might seem it. I thought mine was, however i’ts not.

Doh, ah well, post pics of your solutions!

Yeah ill post some pics of my probable modding disaster for sure! I predict it works… for hmm about… a month.
