Nissan Skyline R32 GTS
As of about 4:30pm yesterday, I’ve become the proud owner of a 1993 Nissan Skyline R32 GTS, complete with 212BHP; a single turbo; rear-wheel drive; four-wheel HICAS steering and it’s all factory-standard.
I’ve taken a few photos, but as I’m still down south, I haven’t yet had the chance to upload any. As soon as I do, I’ll post them here.
If Byron’s around when I get back to Lincoln a test-drive is in order. But so far I’ve just been experimenting with the insane acceleration. As it’s an automatic, many buyers were put-off; though after driving it around for a few minutes, I realised just how much fun they can be! Give it 1/4 throttle and it will coast along, switching up a gear when it hits just 3,000RPM; 1/2 throttle and it will accelerate that little bit faster - any more than half and it drops a gear, then the turbo kicks in and it whooshes up to mental-ness (best way I can describe it).
There’s also a ‘power’ mode, which allows the gearbox to change at 5,000RPM - which sounds even better!
So far I’ve been sticking to speed limits, actually well-under them as there’s a lot of fun to be had in overtaking. I’ll post some pics and possibly a video or two, this week.

Hahahah awesome! I wanna have a go. As its rear wheel drive, have u been spinnng out yet? its gotta be pretty different right?
Get some donut footage and overtaking down lincoln straight roads. In fact I wanna see a prof promo video or something - would be fun to make! Wish i was around to do it.
Im gonna go into my virtual world now and see if I can find a similar vehicle.
P.S. go get Forza so we can have some boyracer drag races :D

Read that article and looked at the pics, from behind it looks perfect and I think on the front it needs some stupid big bumper to match that perfect behind!

Wayo i cant wait, has it been modded in any way or any parts added like a dump valve and better air filter? You will soon be subscribing to MaxPower lol.

I managed to buy Skyline on auction house. Its as close as i could find. Its a 1993 Skyline R32 GTR VSPEC. Someone put paintjob on it that was ok.

Woo Woooo! Matt picked me up last night and we went ripping Lincolns roads up. The pedal was to the metal, as we were doing 90+mph on country roads at night it was awsome! We then hit the A roads and did some boy racing and overtaking. You have got to love the acceleration and when the turbo kicks in wowwaweewa!!!! You soon realise how crap normal cars. I gotta get my self one of these, £1000 complete bargin for the fun you get.

Fuck it one day im gonna buy a rally car and enter rally comps. Im a pimp driver ive decided as i beat all these chumps in my suped up bently online which wasnt anywhere near the fastest car in the race. U know games are like real life.
Sold it on auction last night as well, this time i put it on sale for longer and it ended selling for 4.59 million hahaha. that was a buyout price as well. prob could have got more for it.
