More useful CSS stuff

Another quick link for those interested in CSS layouts - the CSS Tinderbox. Basically a collection of popular layouts already coded for you in CSS/XHTML to use in web-projects, free-to-use. Similar to my previous post, though this one provides the framework for you already.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/17379748/ - it’ll be Ben soon unless he reduces the addiction that is WoW. I’ve not seen him for the past 2 days…

I stumbled across this guy’s Home Office whilst browsing Digg:

That’s got to be the most expensive Home Office setup ever - several Dual Processor PCs, one of which as a full compliment of 32GB RAM! Crazy man.

Oh man that server guy is a total chump! i bet he has 2 computers hooked up to it, overkill. He should of spent all that money on a speedboat. Wonder how much his electric bill is? im gunna email him to ask.

Read the FAQ on his site - he needs all them screens and computers, as he develops many programs and tools. He helped code 3D Studio Max back when it was owned by AutoDesk. And his electric bill is lots by the looks of it, though he doesn’t say how much - as he is rich.

I could make use of two PCs side-by-side, but not the 8 or so he has…

I was bored at home today so I downloaded and watched Pride 33 which is the Japanese version of the ufc. Anyway, when that was over I decided to practice with Premiere and made a short highlight video for it. Squeezing all the fights along with a music track.

DO NOT ADJUST YOUR EYES! I played with a lot of visual effects, some pay off and some don’t. Gotsta have that lighning effect! oh yeayuuu!
    Download it here: http://www.adamskii.slickhouse.com/Pride_highlight_web.wmv
Or its on that GOTM page I dun with the other vids.

I updated a few bad transistions so its a bit smoother now (as of this afternoon).

Pimp edit. It’s good as you can’t tell where you’ve edited it. Also - good choice of music, love that Bloc Party tune. Haha and the credits are bo - were they really there?

Yeah they were in the crowd. I laughed my head off when I saw them. I half expected Nick and Chuck to jump in the ring and get it on.

That was edited from 3 hour of footage so was fooking cut to pieces. I must admit I skipped one fight tho, but that was crappy and I had no time.
Its a shame the amount of quality you lose when exporting (I hate premiere for exporting btw, took me 5 go’s just to get it out the program intact). The poor quality means its hard to see some of the little things like camera shakes and blurs. Ends up looking like some lame artifacting. Oh well.

I had that song in my head because it was playing on the music channel in reception of that place i went for interview. It got me fired up and focused so i thought I owed it a highlight movie.
