Mini-Scalextric
I stumbled across this scalextric wannabee, that’s actually pretty cool.
LordByron will remember the championship we had on Saturday evening, the videos from which I hope to put up sometime this week.
That is all.

I don’t think I understand enough about web terminology, practices, etc, to take most of them on.

Just looking at my stats for my webpages I cant believe that i get 1000 - 3000 hits a month. Who the heck visits? Don’t they realise I hardly update the pages? I was wondering if this hit statistic was mainly coming from search engines or something? Any clue?

Lots of comments!
I had a laugh when I came across this programming task that had been posted up by who I assume is Ben: https://secure.elance.com/c/rfp/main/rfpBid.pl?jobid=11938988&catId=10216&domain=projects;mode=browse;catid=10216;cS=Y;countries=

A-hahahahahaha I bet it was posted by him - but then again, maybe he’s too 1337 now to require such a thing.
Glad you read through the 101 link and found some things interesting. I didn’t spot that logo one - I was still looking at the first page and the domain ideas when I turned off for the day.
1000-3000 hits is probably from people too, as I get many on slickhouse but don’t know who looks at it. There’s many logs, including search terms that people have used to find slickhouse.com or content within. Hits is per-page, whereas unique visits would tell you how many *people* have visited, but either way there’s lots floating around.
