The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Entourage
Little Britain 1-3 + Live
Peep Show 1-3
My name is Earl
Tenacious D
Starter for Ten
I Am Legend
Of course, they’re not in any particular order, but you get the picture(s)… Any that I’ve missed off?
Over-eager eBaying
Just a word of warning, when bidding on eBay - keep your bids to one item only, maybe a second if you really must.
I completely forgot that I was bidding on 2 items last night and have won the first in the early hours of the morning and my bid is leading on the second. Unfortunately I’ve already got a 512MB Microdrive, I won a 2.2GB Microdrive overnight and I’m winning on the 4GB Microdrive. Do you see a pattern here?
I was planning on using just the one as the basis for a reaaaaaaaaaaaaaally tiny Linux PC. I’ll post more details on it as the project progresses, but it’s a stop-gap between finishing my server and starting on R26. It will be about the size of a DVD Boxset I reckon…
Aria.co.uk - new look!
Aria.co.uk are currently undergoing an overhaul.
It is still in the Beta stages, but you can take a look here. The site is pretty much fully-functional and accepts orders apparently.
Definitely an improvement over the original site - with a nice web 2.0 look.
Project Blackbox
Sun has created a huge Data centre utilising a big freight container - usually seen on the back of ships.
Known as Blackbox, it looks great, like a walk-in geek’s brothel. Well not quite. Maybe I’m overreacting, but it must cost a few ‘bob.
Project page here, with pictures here. Not much else to say, but thought I’d waste a minute or two.
Russian Red19
For those of you that can read Russian, Red Nineteen has been translated for the Russian modding website - modding.ru (hardly an original url!)
You can see the full translation here.
Don’t worry if you don’t understand, as I haven’t got a clue what they’ve written, but the site’s owner contacted me a month or two ago, asking if his translators could convert my log into Russian for their new site.
I had completely forgotten about it, until I was trying out the search feature within Firefox 2’s address bar - and discovered the page. It’s an interesting read, if you understand Russian…
