The “Find Adamskii A Job” foundation
Recently a new organisation has been formed - known as the Find Adamskii a Job foundation - or FAAJ for short (pronounced Fadge).
It was setup to try and find Adamskii a job, so that he would remain in Lincoln, where he has lived for 3 years whilst studying at University and also for the last 3 days, whilst drinking.
So, if you have any spare cash or time, then either donate said cash to the foundation or find Adamskii a job within the Lincoln area.
Thanks.
Come on Hamster!
If you’ve been watching/reading or indeed, listening to the news recently, then you’ll have no doubt heard about Richard Hammond’s 300mph crash yesterday, whilst he was attempting to break the land-speed-record in a jet engined dragster.
This morning I read on BBC news that he had been seriously hurt in the crash. But this evening it appears that he now has a brain injury. Here’s hoping he makes a full recovery and returns to Top Gear for the next series, as he is a funny guy.
XHTML!
Today, whilst spending most of the day altering work’s website, something finally hit me - I can actually code in XHTML! I’ve spent countless hours over the past 6 or so years, putting together random webpages (mostly crap) and more recently, using Dreambeaver’s code view 99% of the time - switching to design view to pinpoint snippets of code, or to ensure everything looks OK.
To demonstrate this, off the top of my head (in the last 5 minutes) I altered the code for my previous blog post, to centre the image and add in an alt tag (to ensure validity) along with a few other things. On top of that, I messed around with CSS and layers, instead of the easier table layout. To conclude: CSS is wank for layout. I much prefer having a physical item to push and pull around until I am happy with how it looks.
Bah, what is up with this geeky talk? Let’s get back to business…
Custom PC Photoshoot
Just a quick update on the hot topic…
The freelance photographer visited this evening, to take pictures for Custom PC of my Red Nineteen rig for the Readers’ Drives article:

Watch out for the December issue, which is on sale at the end of October - as you’ll no doubt see me in the back few pages. Now all I have to do is await my prizes…
Demozone
Just to remind you all of Adamskii’s outstanding Demozone website, which can be found here. If your mouse cannot reach that link, then try this one. If you are too lazy to move your mouse that much further, then click here. If you are even lazier than I think you are, then click here. If I could, I would make your computer automatically click here.
Anyway, back on topic. Adamskii has already produced 2 amazing Demozone video reviews. Hopefully he will be making another few - as he has now retired at the ripe old age of 23. Old bugger.
So, add a comment to this blog post if you think Adamskii should waste more of his free-time on producing another Demozone video (or 3!). If I get enough free-time, I’ll be making one myself, albeit using a crummy K750i and its limited video recording facility. If I could be bothered, I’d borrow a DV camera and get a hi-res version going, but hey.
Come on Adamskii, tell us what you’ll be reviewing next!
