I’m back again!

You may have tried to visit the blog over the past few days and seen that it was down. If you’ve read my previous ramblings, you will also have noticed that it was down several times, due to .php errors and core files.

Well, I decided to upload the blog again, this time crossing my fingers that it will all work correctly. I’ve removed Frontpage extensions, removed the .htaccess file, changed some file permissions and generally looked at all that could have been wrong.

If it messes up again, then I’ll cry a thousand tears - well not quite. But something along those lines…

This morning, I was almost certain that the following would be the specs of my new rig (that I’m currently putting together):

* AMD Athlon64 3800 X2

* 2gb DDR 3200 (2 x 1gb)

* Asus A8N SLi SE

* 7800gt

* Tagan 480w

However, this evening I read this article along with this one.

For those that can’t be bothered to read, or indeed those that cannot read altogether, here is a summary:

For £79, you can purchase a new Intel Pentium D 805 Dual Core. This can be overclocked to 4.1Ghz without too much hassle and will beat the top Intel Extreme Edition and AMD FX-60 chips into oblivion.

Now I’m stuck as to whether I purchase a dual core AMD for £200, or this for £79…

Any help?

* Apparently they’re making a WoW (World of Warcraft) movie. The same chappies who did the new Batman. I wonder if Ben could star in it? No mention of Leeeroy though.

* I’ve got another 3 day weekend coming up! I’ve had about 5 x 4 day weeks recently. I’m not complaining though.

* It’s meh birthday on Sunday. Yes, the 14th May 1984 was the day that I was born.

* Halo 3 trailer has been released. Initially everyone thought it was pre-rendered. But Bungie let rip and said it was in-game. Everyone gasped. A few news sites updated their pages. I couldn’t be arsed downloading it.

* GTA4 is being released on the XBOX 360 AND the PS3 simultaneously!!! No more Sony dominated GTA. I’m a bit pissed off, as 360 owners will get updated content after release (via live!).

* I’ve still not finished the new slickhouse site (V5). It has been in development for months now, with many versions and notes for it. I should have it done soon (he says).

* Adamskii still hasn’t ventured back to Lincoln. It’s nearly a year since he left the place for good. Lincoln misses him. We’ve all returned (mostly), so come and ‘tek a look.

* I’ve run out of bullet points to type. Actually, they’re more like asterisk points, or spikey points…

Sod it, that’s all folks.

Lazlow’s blog is back to the beta stages again.

I’ve uploaded a clean version of WordPress 2.0.2 to see where the errors lie…

If this works fine, then I’ll start putting up my modified theme (header and sidebar), but until then you’ll have to make do with this standard/default theme.

Yes it’s true… I’m back in action, well blogging action.

Hopefully this install will hold up - I had a bit of trouble trying to piece the blog back together, as I’d simply deleted the directory in rage when I found it to have been hacked.

If the kid who uploaded all the junk to this blog is reading this, then I hope your penis does fall off.

Expect some more blogging soon!
