Version 6/7
If you hadn’t already noticed that the current version of slickhouse.com is 5, then this wont really interest you - so move along.
My mini-itx project has had a setback or two, in that the motherboard is proving to be faulty and is going for an RMA this week. But once it is up and running, I’ll be using it as a test webserver at home. Which means I can develop things at home and test them out, prior to it going live. The first project I aim to use the webserver for will be version 6/7 of slickhouse.com - which will be fully dynamic. I aim to hand-code a blog, dynamic pages, upload/download features and much more - but as I’ll be starting from scratch, I don’t want it live until I know it all works.
I’ll post a project log of the hardware soon and a summary of the webserver itself.

Can anyone think of some simple animation creation tools that kids could learn?

Do a google search for ‘kids animation software’, quite a lot appears. Paint Shop Pro includes Animation Shop, which might be simple too.
Or you could create a flash file, that allows kids to use pre-defined shapes and animate it themselves, it’s possible.

What is your Xmas present Adamskii?
Byron should get some mince pies. Or a DX10 graphics card. Or a NAS appliance.

You never know, a 5 year old might turn up on your doorstep, looking for his father. Maybe he’ll be called Luke, then you can say “Luke, I am your father!”
