Red Nineteen (final post I promise)!
To summarise the fame and fortune that my recent project, Red Nineteen gave me:
Firstly, I wrote a project log about it on the Bit-tech forums - this has received over 32,000 hits to date.
Secondly, I entered a competition on the Custom PC website, the entry to which can be seen here.
Thirdly, around the same time, my project log was mentioned on the front page of Bit-tech.
Fourthly, I received an email from a Russian guy, asking me if he could translate my log for a Russian modding site.
Fifthly, I then received an email from the editor of Custom PC, stating that I had won the Readers’ Drives competition.
Sixthly, I then had a photographer visit my house and take a few pictures of Red19 and unfortunately, of me.
You can see more of the resulting article and several pictures and screenshots of various things here. Phew! That’s a lot of links - a bit like, Pimp my PC I guess. If you’re wondering why I’ve written this repetitive post, it’s because I was adding to the hardware page on slickhouse.com and thought I’d mirror the links here. Simple as.
Also, if you’re quick enough (sometime this month) you’ll see the article I wrote and the pictures taken of me, on the Custom PC website. Go to the Readers’ Drives section and navigate to the ‘This Month’s Winner’ page.

Aha, I get what you mean. PDF documents have come a looooooooooooooooooong way since the originals - and great that they’re integrating the Macromedia stuff into Adobe’s current apps, seeing as they bought them and all that.
