Projector
I borrowed the LCD projector from work for the weekend… not for myself, but I decided to set it up in the living room to see how it looked:
^ It’s nice and bright as you can see, especially in the dark (duh!)
^ Me reaching out for the large screen goodness…
I tried the Animatrix on it via my laptop and it looked very nice. It’s a pity I had to return it, but it’s got me thinking about a home cinema setup.

HAhahaha on the blinds? i wonder what the neighbours thought the hell was going on haha.

It didn’t click until 30 minutes or so of messing about with it, that the projector would be visible from outside - so I stepped out of the front door, to be confronted with the huge screen, but mirrored. It’s not ideal, as everyone in the street can see what you’re watching…

Seriously though, it would be life-size if not bigger… if it was holographic, I could fill my house with pornstars, maybe invite Ron Jeremy around for tea.
