I know it’s Christmas Eve as I write this, but I am shutting down my laptop for a good few days (at least that’s the plan!).

I’ve been messing around with this blog’s layout ever since uploading it…

…but after customising the header, adding in a menu (and pages), changing things many times, I think I’ve got there!

You’ll see a new addition - Quote of the week, which appears at the top of the sidebar menu. I’ve also integrated a quote archive into the blog, which will catalogue all previous quotes.

There’s the Car and PC pages, along with the Blog Info and Biography pages - all accessible via the menu.

If you are familiar with RSS, then you can get the feeds from the bottom of the page, or from the Blog Info section.

Hopefully now I can enjoy my Christmas, knowing that my blog is safe and sound, ready for more content as and when I feel like spewing it out…

Some interesting facts straight from the slickhouse.com servers…

This blog has received (so far in December) over 3100 hits, with 92 unique visitors. Nice to know seeing as I’ve not publically advertised it.

The bandwidth too has brought up the server’s to over a ‘gig this month, far exceeding most other months.

For 2006 I aim to bring you (the blog reader) plenty of content to keep you entertained in your bored times.

Here begins the fight of the century…

In the left corner, all the way from the Far East we have Tiger beer, known as “The World’s Best Lager Beer”.

And in the right corner, from Belgium we have Stella Artois, one of the World’s best selling beers.

Imagine the choice - they’re both sold for around the same price, they’re both premium (over 5%) and they both taste very good - the Stella with an almost sparkling taste, with the Tiger having a smooth taste. Which would you choose?

My favourite is the Stella, as its quality ensures that you’ll be drunk in no time. But the Tiger isn’t far behind.

A follow-up to my previous post…

I’ve now finished the first batch of headers for the blog. After messing about in Photoshop for a good few hours, I’ve come up with 69 (yes, 69!) different images for this blog’s header.

All of the images have some relevance to yours truly:

- Various renders, produced using 3D Studio Max
- Many digital pictures that I’ve taken over the past year or so
- Several screenshots

Hopefully the’ve made this blog more personalised - it’s no longer the default ‘Wordpress’ theme, but a hacked up, jazzed up, jumped up custard of a blog.

Hit refresh many times to see all 69 images, and to waste my 25gb of monthly bandwidth…
